It’s amazing how the end of the year makes you look back and consider your journey so far. Your ups and your downs, you become reminiscent over the things/people you’ve lost and you are hopeful for things to come.

As this year comes to a close I can’t help but be grateful for every milestone, every achievement and every person that’s made this year what it is.

My babes has truly made this year amazing for me. This year we hit our 1st anniversary and set up the YT channel – check it out guys! But in all honesty – without being too sloppy – he has made my year. I wouldn’t have wanted to spend 2017 with anyone else, from cheeky breaks away to Netflix and chill he has made my highs higher and my lows better, thanks babe! X

Loughborough UNNIII

13465931_10154369788894274_5632574999988292672_n2017 saw the end to my uni career. 4 years strong, it felt like it was over so fast. I can’t begin to explain how amazing my time at Loughborough University was and equally how relieved I am that it’s all over.

For those of you who don’t know after doing a bachelor in Social Psychology I did a master’s in Business Analysis and Management. The change was difficult and the year gruelling but God was working and I managed to walk away with a distinction! Graduation, was definitely a highlight and I am so thankful that I never have to sit another exam again!

Unfortunately, this was a year of loss. Even now as I look back I am amazed at the amount of influence Grams had over my life and how she touched the lives of so many around her. I am grateful for the time we had together on this earth. Through it all, the family has become stronger. I am so thankful for my parents who are the reason I was able to go to university for all this time, they have worked hard to provide me with the luxuries that I now enjoy and 2018 I declare will be a year when I give back. They are my rock and I literally wouldn’t be here without them, love ya’ll x (I would put pictures but they would kill me dead)

giphy-6My professional career has literally been a rollercoaster, it’s actually a joke. From quitting my first job to being a scammers apprentice (post coming soon), there’s nothing that hasn’t happened. It’s been an experience, but I must say I’ve learnt so much and the aim is to make sure I never make the same mistake twice. Watch this space, the future looks bright and without saying too much so I don’t jinx it, God’s willing 2018 is going to be my year!

Of course, 2017 saw the creation of my baby “Lianne’s Legacy”. Let me tell you, It has been a blessing. I’m no pro but this blog platform has given me the outlet to express some of the craziness that’s going on in my head. It’s not where I want it to be yet, but I’m so happy that I finally took the first step and got it started. Thank you all so much for your support so far, for popping over to take a look, I appreciate you all so much.
